The Braves and General Manager Alex Anthopoulos have been unexpectedly active early in the season and made a pair of moves today, trading Luis Guillorme to the Angels for cash considerations and acquiring Red Sox utilityman Zach Short also for cash considerations.
It's been pretty common that Alex Anthopoulos has worked hard around the trade deadline to plug whatever holes the Braves may have, but this year seems to be playing out differently, and it's got John Fricke and Randy McMichael wondering if the small transactions could be getting pieces in place for a larger decision.
