Despite having a tough weekend at home vs the White Sox, the Braves remain the standard in MLB this season. They will have a tough test however, as they lost pitcher A.J. Minter to the 15-Day IL and Kolby Allard was removed with shoulder tightness from his start on Sunday. Audacy MLB Insider Tony Gwynn Jr., however, still feels Atlanta is right where they need to be.
“The world we live in today, it’s funny because I just went back and glanced at the last 10 games seeing the last two losses. My first thought was that is what we would probably lead with today. What did my main Aaron Rodgers say? R-E-L-A-X,” Gwynn explained.
The Braves will be off Monday before beginning a homestand with the upstart Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
