Ronald Acuña Jr. continues his torrid pace this season after a multi home run game on Tuesday. After garnering the most votes in the NL, he was voted to start in this year’s All-Star game. That might not be the only accolade he takes home.
“We get to see him defensively every day. Offensively every day. I just don’t think there’s anybody out there better in baseball right now,” Carl Dukes explained.
Acuña Jr. has a .330 batting average with 19 home runs and 51 RBI entering play on Wednesday. He also has accumulated 35 stolen bases on the year.
