The Atlanta Braves have some serious decisions that they need to make, as we are just a couple of weeks away from the MLB trade deadline. It’s a hard decision because the Braves are only four games out of first place in the NL East, but on the other haven’t been over .500 at any point this season. Also, they have to consider that they lost Ronald Acuna Jr. for the rest of the season.
Kris Willis, of Talking Chop, joined the Jon Chuckery show to discuss whether or not the Braves will take calls from teams who was vying for a World Series. “I think the Braves have some pieces they can move” Willis said.
Charlie Morton is a guy that teams could come calling about because he has been one of the more consistent pitchers in the starting rotation. If Morton does go though, it would send a clear message that the Braves are out on trying to make it to the playoffs and that never goes over well with a fan base that expected their team to make it to the World Series to start the season.
