You should've buried the Braves when you had the chance

Baseball is a long season, filled with many peaks and valleys, and the Atlanta Braves have had plenty of both thus far in 2024. The pitching staff, minus Spencer Strider of course, has nothing short of amazing. The offense, however, has been a tale of two halves, until now.

Over the last week, Matt Olson, who hit under .200 for the month of April with only two homeruns, is hitting .263 with three homeruns already in May, and is hitting over .300 in the last week. Austin Riley, after also scuffling in April, is hitting .313 in May. Chris Sale has been amazing all season, and he doesn't even lead the team in ERA, Reynaldo Lopez does. The bottom half of the Braves lineup has carried this team this team offensively through the first six weeks of the season, and now the top half is heating up. Have I mentioned that Sean Murphy is returning soon? You had your chance to bury the Braves MLB, now consider yourself on notice. This team is not slowing down any time soon.
