Audacy Insider, and former NFL GM, Michael Lombardi joined The Jon Chuckery Show on Thursday and not only called the Atlanta Falcons winning seven games this season "a miracle," but he also gave some draft and team-building advice.

Entering a critical offseason, Lombardi offered three keys to building a true contender.
“At the end of the day, if you want to win a championship in the NFL, you need three things—a really good offensive line, a really good defensive line and a blue-chip QB. Unfortunately, Atlanta has a good QB who is towards the end of his career and they need to repair those lines.”
Chuckery has been vocal about his opposition to the “best player available” mentality for the Falcons ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft. Lombardi agreed by saying that the Falcons must reinforce the trenches if they hope to have championship aspirations.
Falcons GM Terry Fontenot told the media this week that the team won’t reach for a player to fill a need.
The Falcons hold the eighth pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. After finishing 2021 as the worst pass-rushing team in the league, and with Matt Ryan being the fifth-most sacked quarterback in the NFL, most Falcons fans are hoping to see an investment along both lines this offseason.
