Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank joined Dukes & Bell and talked about Matt Ryan and Julio Jones future with the team and when the team should start looking towards the future.
Blank talked about the future of the Falcons franchise quarterback.
“Matt’s operated at a very high level for a long period of time and we think he can for the future.” Blank said “Now at some point as we all understand in life we all slow down, and I’m sure that will happen with Matt at some juncture.”
“I think whether it be Matt or Julio or whoever it may be, one of the responsibilities that a good head coach, a good general manager have is to make sure we have succession planning in mind. That they’re thinking about ok, at some point there’s going to be an end, how do we make a successful transition.”
