Falcons show 'they believe in Kyle Pitts' with reported new deal
After wrapping up mandatory minicamp last week, the Atlanta Falcons are back in the headlines as ESPN NFL Insider, Adam Schefter reported the team agreed to a three-year, $54 million contract with $36 million fully guaranteed and makes the Falcons tight end, the third highest paid per annual basis at the position.
“You don’t do this deal if you don’t believe in him,” 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes said as he and cohost shared thoughts on the Pitts report, which came just weeks after the Falcons placed the franchise tag on him. “Apparently he’s had a great impression on this coaching staff and the people in charge and the bottom line is they feel like he can be a help right now,” Dukes said.
