It was expected that the Falcons would add to their offensive line room, especially at the tackle position, after the injuries to Kaleb McGary and Storm Norton, and today, ahead of the 53-man cutdown deadline, the Falcons acquired Seahawks Tackle Michael Jurrell in a trade for a conditional 7th Round pick.
Michael Jurrell, who was a 6th Round pick in 2024 out of Division II Findlay, has three career NFL starts, making his starting debut in Mercedes Benz Stadium for the Seahawks last season in their Week 7 34-14 win over the Falcons.
Jurrell went on to start in Week 8 against the Bills and Week 18 against the Rams. He played in 7 other games for a total of 10 games played in the 2024 season.
