The Atlanta Falcons are trending towards an eighth-consecutive season of missing the playoffs, but there are still eight games left for this team in 2025. As the team hits the halfway point, what else is there for them to accomplish at this point?

Chris Thomas discussed where the team stands, sitting three games under .500 and staring down another lost season. Is it as simple as not messing up the future of this young quarterback?

"The one thing this team cannot afford, at 3-6, is to let the belief start to creep in that Penix is not the guy," Thomas said. "That is the one thing this franchise cannot afford to do."
