In today's day and age, the window for head coaches in professional sports does not remain open long in regards to improving a franchise and for Atlanta Falcons head coach, Raheem Morris, year two into his tenure is off to a rocky start as the Falcons, at 3-6, or in the midst of a four game losing streak.
"There's captain Sully, you land the airplane on the Hudson," Morris said as he joined 92-9 The Game's Carl Dukes and Mike Bell and explained why despite the Falcons' record, there is no need for him to "panic" in regards to his job status.
"If your leader's going to go panic, that's going to change it? No man, you have a resilient mindset, you get your guys going and you go out there and win football games," Morris continued in response to whether or not he had any concerns about his job security.
"What you're talking about does nothing for nobody. It just doesn't, there's got to be a steadiness to the ship that has to happen, that has to happen now," Morris said as he shared while there is no panic from himself or Falcons' players, "there is an urgency that is created that is going to be useful. It can't be not useful," Morris said.
