The Atlanta Falcons stand at 3-3 and tied for first in the NFC South through Week 6 in the NFL, a far cry from what many expected this team to be. They find themselves competing more for a playoff spot and less for a top draft pick.
Atlanta Falcons Analyst Dave Archer is pleased with the positive momentum this team has build and doesn't think they will become a victim of their own steps forward.
"As fans that's where we're gonna go, that's still to play out, but right now as a mentality standpoint and a play standpoint, that doesn't jive, those two things don't go together," says Dave Archer. "We, as fans, can begin to dream a little bit about winning the division, but this group has been really good about resetting each week and I think this team believes that and that's what they're going to do this week.
"This was a nice win, but they're moving on and that's the key, how they can reset."
