The Atlanta Falcons are on a three game losing streak and desperately need a win, but it won’t come easy going up against the 7-2 Indianapolis Colts, and earlier today former Falcons quarterback and now analyst for the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network Dave Archer joined The Morning Shift and talked about what he thinks will be the biggest factor in the Falcons coming home from Berlin, Germany with a win over the Colts.
“Can you stay on the field? What’s your time of possession with the ball look like? I think that if you can have a game where you’re at 32, 33 minutes or even 31 minutes where you hold the ball a couple more minutes than Indianapolis does, that tells me, and I think would tell a lot of people that you’re winning on third down defensively.”
If the Falcons can play complimentary football and win the time of possession battle they should beat the Colts on Sunday in Germany and get a much needed win, but that’s a lot more easier said than done.
