The Atlanta Falcons hold the No. 8 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft that will kickoff on Thursday night.

The Falcons need help at every position, and who they select in the first round could go any direction. One of those positions is at wide receiver.
Emory Hunt, NFL draft analyst for CBS Sports HQ, joined the Midday Show to talk about one familiar face here in Georgia that the Falcons should consider in the second round on Friday.
"George Pickens," Emory Hunt told Andy and Randy. "First of all, I like George Pickens because he looks like he likes fighting."
Pickens ran a 4.47-second 40-yard dash, 33-inch vertical jump and registered 10 feet, 5 inches in the broad jump.
"To me, that's the bona fide stud the Falcons would need on the outside. From all the reports--and if you believe the rumors or reading the tea leaves--he may be there in the second round for the Falcons to grab."
"It would be an ideal pick for me. I feel like this is someone that you can build a foundation around in your passing game."
Pickens suffered a torn ACL during Bulldogs' spring training drills back in March of 2021. He was able to get back to the field in Georgia's final regular season game as well as the SEC Championship and National Championship games.
