Last season only 5 games separate the top and bottom of the NFC South, only one division (NFC West) was tighter, and with what we've seen this offseason so far, the division might be more competitive than ever before in 2025.

So far this offseason, here's each teams most significant moves:
Carolina Panthers: Brought back CB Jaycee Horn; added DT Terhsawn Wharton, Safety Tre’Von Moehrig, & DE Patrick Jones
New Orleans Saints: Traded for DT Davon Godchaux, brought back DE Chase Young and TE Juwan Johnson, added Safety Justin Reid
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Brought back WR Chris Godwin, OL Ben Bredeson, and LB Lavonte David; added DE Haason Reddick and DE Anthony Nelson

"Saints got Reid, very good Safety, didn't get any better offensively. Tampa went and got a pass rusher, re-signed a lot of their own guys. Carolina loses the heart-beat of their defense, got some issues in the lines of scrimmage." says Randy McMichael. "Right now, pre-draft, it's the most even division in football. I don't think there's a big separation, all these teams are average, below-average."
