The Atlanta Falcons are on the verge of making the biggest decision they've made in quite some time. The Falcons haven't had a top-5 pick in the NFL draft since 2008. Interestingly enough, that's when the Falcons drafted their current quarterback, Matt Ryan.
There has been a lot of chatter about the Falcons potentially drafting Ryan's replacement. That's the thing about drafting in the top five, the expectation is that you are going to get a difference-maker. Chris Blair, of the LSU Radio Network, joined The Jon Chuckery Show to talk about wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who many believe could be a playmaker on the next level. "He expects excellence," Blair said.
Chase is an interesting prospect for the Falcons because he plays the same position as Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley. But if the Falcons are in best-player-available mode, and Chase is sitting there at 4, it may behoove them to take him.
