The first two weeks of the 2022 season have brought a roller coaster of emotions for Falcons fans after losing a lead against the Saints and nearly completing an epic comeback against the Rams. Nevertheless, the record stands at 0-2 with the Falcons in search of their first win.

So, having seen some good and some bad whether it was the first three quarters against the Saints or the second half of the Rams game, Steak Shapiro and Sandra Golden asked fans on 92.9 The Game’s ’The Steakhouse’ if they see the glass as half-empty or half-full so far for the Falcons.

Steak and Sandra disagree on the immediate future at quarterback with Golden saying it’s time for Desmond Ridder to take over the reins from Marcus Mariota whose interception in the end zone sealed the Falcons' fate Sunday.

“When there are big moments, whether it's ‘I fell down’ or ‘I fumbled or I should’ve could’ve’…From that spot with Mariota, I don’t have the confidence that he’s going to turn it around,” she said, explaining that the former 2nd overall pick in Tennessee hasn’t given the Falcons a reason not to see what Ridder can offer.

Shapiro isn’t quite ready to make a move at quarterback just yet, but said while the first two games have been entertaining, it goes to show this team’s ceiling in 2022.

“We don’t have the players…This isn’t the year we’re supposed to win the NFC South,” Shapiro said. “What’s more important is what are our rookies, what are our second-year guys doing, what are we building, what happens next year with all of this money?"

Both hosts were alarmed by the Falcons' inability to find Kyle Pitts after the tight end was targeted just three times Sunday.

This week, the Falcons will be in Seattle for a matchup with the Seahawks, who Shapiro and Golden say likely won’t fear the Falcons as they look to protect their home field.
