As the Falcons enter their 2nd week of training camp, everyone is trying to determine how they feel about Desmond Ridder as he takes over the QB1 job in his 2nd professional season, and despite a few overthrows, generally the throws have been positive for Ridder in drills.
Jessie Bates, who spent the last few seasons in Cincinnati watch Joe Burrow throw the ball, has been impressed with Desmond Ridder and tells Andy and Randy that one aspect of his game pops.
"Desmond has competed at the highest level (in Cincinnati), how poised he is, how accurate he is, it's something that stands out," says Falcons safety Jessie Bates. "It's a learning process as a young quarterback, you have to take charge, and he has everything to do so."
