Kyle Pitts is entering the 2024 season with a new outlook. An article by ESPN.com reports that Pitts has a “personal vendetta” to get back to the player he was during his rookie season according to head coach Raheem Morris. The Florida product has struggled due to injuries and lack of production last two years. The team, however, decided to pick up his fifth-year option this offseason.
Pitts has failed to eclipse 1,000 receiving since his rookie campaign, a mark that was expected to be a staple. With new quarterback Kirk Cousins in the mix Pitts should be able to regain his form as long as he remains healthy. It remains to be seen, however, if the offense will be able to gel immediately under first-year coordinator Zac Robinson.
The weapons around Kyle Pitts should also help him regain his from. Bijan Robinson is expected to have a breakout campaign and Drake London should be able to lock up his first 1,000 yard receiving season as well.
