NFL Insider for Sirius XM and FOX Sports Radio, Adam Caplan, joined The Midday Show to talk about candidates we should be keeping our eye on for the Atlanta Falcons general manager opening.
The Falcons are currently in the market for both a head coach and GM after firing Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff after the team's 0-5 start. We've heard of potential coaching candidates but are more unfamiliar with those who could fill Dimitroff's shoes.
Here are the list of people he said Falcons fans should keep their eye on:
· Scott Fitterer (Seahawks, VP of Football Operations)
· Trent Kirchner (Seahawks, VP of Player Personnel)
"Both guys have interviewed for the Colts head coaching/GM situation four years ago...Those are two guys who are highly respected."
· Ryan Poles (Chiefs, Assistant Director of Player Personnel)
"He's highly respected. He's going to start getting on radars of people," Caplan said. And it has to do with being a part of a winning organization.
· Dan Morgan (Bills, Director of Player Personnel)
· Andy Weidl (Eagles, Vice President of Player Personnel)
