Raheem Morris is going to stick with the quarterback that brought the Falcons to where they are now. At 6-6 with a critical road game vs Minnesota on Sunday, Morris has consistently backed his QB all week long after Kirk Cousins threw four interceptions and the team lost its third game in a row, falling 17-13 to the Chargers. Sticking with Cousins over rookie signal caller Michael Penix Jr. could be the move that costs the Falcons a playoff berth.

Cousins has had one of the more unique seasons a quarterback has had in recent memory. He has thrown a four touchdown game, a 500-yard game and a four interception game all in the same season. He also has not thrown a touchdown pass in the last three contests.

Penix Jr. has the type of tantalizing potential that has fans and media questioning why he has not seen more action amid Cousins' struggles. Morris, however, has remained steadfast that Cousins is QB1 and will remain so.
