The Falcons are not that far off as some pundits think. Matt Ryan hasn't taken a step back despite being in his late 30s, but the team will go as far as Ryan can take them. Arthur Smith believes Ryan can still win. That's why the franchise didn't draft a quarterback in the draft.
Ryan does need help though. A running game would be at the top of my list. The offensive line improving in pass protection would be a good start as well. Can the defense finally get pressure on the QB with Dean Pees' 'we're coming from everywhere' mentality?
