Earlier today on The Morning Shift, Mike Johnson, Ali Mac, and Beau Morgan explained why they think Atlanta Falcons week one starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa must trust his teammates and the weapons he has around him, and not play hero ball against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
“At this point he’s [Tua Tagovailoa] just got to not put all of it on him he has got Bijan Robinson Kyle Pitts, Drake London, Zachariah Branch, Jahan Dotson, Olamide [Zaccheaus], and a pretty good offensive line, a pretty good offensive line, just allow them to do their job, get the ball to guys on time, and let the playmakers do what they gotta do. It’s not all you in other words and I think that mindset would really help him and he’s a team guy anyway, so you know you go out there and everybody does their job you have a really good chance in this game despite what anyone thinks.” Beau Morgran said
As long as Tua takes care of the ball, executes and plays within the game plan, and has a clean operation the Falcons will definitely have a chance to beat the Steelers and start their 2026-27 season 1-0.
