NFL writer Jarrett Bell joined Dukes & Bell to talk about NFL free agency, and whether Falcons fans curb their enthusiasm early on in the Terry Fontenot-Arthur Smith regime?
Bell talked about the unknowns with the new Falcons regime.
“I say pump the brakes on the excitement because these guys are not coming in with a track record, so they could end up being great or they could end up being not so great, it’s just tough to project,” Bell said. “I think everybody is gonna want to see what’s gonna happen with Julio long-term and Matt Ryan, are they going to try to roll with that for a couple of years to build around that.
“You look at the division, it’s been the Saints' division for so long until oh by the way here comes Tom Brady. So you’re in this division, right? So you’re already three at the best, so yea the challenge is definitely going to be there.”
