Will the Falcons passing attack be enough for NFC South crown?

As the Falcons fell behind by multiple scores on Sunday against the Bengals the team still only threw the ball thirteen times on the day. Dukes & Bell talked about the lack of a passing attack the team has and asked the question why the team doesn’t throw the ball more.

Carl talked about the passing attack not being opened up to this point in the season.

“There are two things I know about our football team, when healthy on defense we’re pretty good, we run the ball well, statistics show that,” Dukes said. “We do not or we haven’t, seven weeks into the season thrown the ball or allowed our quarterback to show us that hey when we’re down in game like this we’re gonna be ok, we’re gonna be able to come back.”

Dukes continued that this is game is a reality check for the Falcons.

“This is a reality check right now for Falcons fans because as good as we’ve looked and things that we feel good about we’re gonna have some more games like this. And we can’t say our quarterback only threw the ball thirteen times and feel good about it the next day when we lose.”
