Zachariah Branch brings 'unique skillset' to Falcons' offense

Since the ending of the Georgia Bulldogs’ football season, there has been a lot of debate as to whether or not Atlanta Falcons rookie wide receiver, Zachariah Branch had been utilized in the Bulldogs offense in a manner which maximized his talents. “I definitely feel like I can do a lot of things,” Branch said as he joined 92-9 The Game’s Carl Dukes and Mike Bell, and shared thoughts about what he believes he brings to the Falcons’ offense.

“I feel like have a very unique skill set and God has blessed me with a lot of abilities,” Branch continued, noting his “pedigree” as the nephew of former NFL Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champions, Cliff Branch, who played with the Raiders from 1972 to 1985. “He was known as a burner, so definitely excited to get a chance to expand in this offense and just learn the offense and earn some plays to be made out there this season,” Branch said of “the opportunity,”.

Branch along the other Falcons’ rookies and undrafted free agents reported to rookie mini camp on Friday and while Branch told Dukes and Bell he did not have the opportunity to speak with Atlanta new head coach, Kevin Stefanski since arriving to Flowery Branch, he noted previous conversations with the former Browns’ coach having including various ways he may by used in the offense. “He did say that I can play the inside and the outside so that’s something that I’m trying to learn and just be comfortable with just to be able to help the team overall,” Branch said.
