The Atlanta Hawks battled back and forth with the 9-25 Jazz Tuesday night, with guard Trae Young hitting a 3-pointer from beyond half-court as time expired. This game shouldn’t have been as close as it was against a sub-.500 team, but the way that this current west-coast trip has gone, any win will do.
The Hawks started 2025 with three consecutive losses vs the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Clippers, but now sit at 19-18 with a chance to go .500 on the road-trip vs the sub-.500 Phoenix Suns on Thursday night. North Georgia’s own Collin Sexton gave it his all for the Jazz, scoring 24 points, but it proved to not be enough as Trae Young led Hawks’ scorers with 24 points of his own, and even traded lead-taking shots as time expired in the fourth. Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael discuss this great win, and what the Hawks need to do to stay on the winning track.
