The Atlanta Hawks have high hopes for Quin Snyder and Trae Young, as they should. Snyder took the role during the second half of the regular season and now has an opportunity to truly implement his coaching philosophies and style on this Hawks team with a complete offseason and training camp.

The Hawks are led by their star point guard, Young, and some nice young assets and key role players. However, it seems as though the Hawks will be attempting to make a splash and look to be aggressive in the offseason now that Coach Snyder has a feel for his team and the vision he has in place.

The question seems to be, can Snyder bring out the most in Young and take his game to yet another level? Ernie Johnson from Inside the NBA on TNT joined The Morning Shift and shared his thoughts on Coach Snyder and the fit with Trae Young,

“I think Quin is a good fit," said Johnson. "I think he is a really good coach and a good man. I’ve always been a Quin Snyder fan.”

The expectations have grown for the Hawks. You now have a legitimate star in the NBA, a well respected and talented head coach, and a young nucleus that is looking to take the next step. If Snyder can do what many believe he can, and bring the most out of Young and the rest of the group, this Hawks team has the potential to go to the next step next year.
