McMillan knows exactly what he is doing

The Atlanta Hawks were able to get an amazing win against the New York Knicks in Madison Square Garden. Trae Young hit a floater in the lane with less than a second on the clock. Young is receiving a lot of praise for what he was able to do for his team.

One name that should be mentioned more is Nate McMillan. McMillan, since he became the interim head coach, has done nothing but put his team in the right situation to win basketball games.

Sarah Spencer, of the AJC, joined the Jon Chuckery show to illuminate how McMillan has done so. “I think now, yes, it’s the biggest stage a lot of guys have played on and I think they’re prepared for it” Spencer said.

The full week of practice the Hawks had to prepare for the Knicks looked to really pay off because they knew exactly what to do when the game was on the line. To sum it up, Spencer said “Nate has really gotten them to understand that moment in the 4th quarter.”
