There was one big question in the offseason for the Atlanta Hawks to answer. Most wondered whether or not John Collins would be wearing a Hawks uniform in 2022.
There isn't a need to wonder anymore because Collins signed a five year deal worth 125 million dollars. Now that Collins is signed, Jon Chuckery believes there are a couple of things that Collins has to do to justify the contract.
"He's got to stay healthy and be on the court" Chuckery said. "John Collins has to be that guy now that goes out and win you a game (in the playoffs)"
Collins has continued to add to his game each year he has been in the NBA. He has become a solid three point shooter. For the 2020-21 season, he 40 percent from three.
With the new additions to the team last season, Collins had to make adjustments to his game. Now that he has this new contract, we will see if his role changes moving forward.
