92.9 The Game's College Football Gametime host, Chris Goforth, joined the Midday Show to preview Championship weekend in college football.
Atlanta will play host for the SEC Championship game featuring No. 1 Alabama against No. 7 Florida at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Sat., 8:00pm).
Alabama are heavy favorites (-17) against a Gators team who has two losses under their belt after falling to LSU last weekend. However, some still believe that Florida has a chance to make the playoff IF they beat the Tide. But Goforth believes there's no way the Selection Committee puts in a two-loss team regardless.
"This may be the least important SEC Championship game ever," Goforth told Andy and Randy. He believes even if Alabama were to lose, they're still a lock for the playoff.
"I don't think Florida can get into the playoff regardless of what happens. I think tomorrow night in the SEC, more than anything else, I think it determines who wins the Heisman trophy. Is it Kyle Trask or is it Mac Jones or DeVonta Smith. I think we'll have a much better feel for who the Heisman Trophy winner is going to be at the end of tomorrow night."
