Bennett 'can't win' in the playoffs

The Alabama Crimson Tide punched the Georgia Bulldogs in the face on Saturday, and they were never able to recover. The final score was 41-24. However, that is not indicative of what really happened in the game.

Two things really stood out in that contest. The first one is that Georgia's weakness on defense was exposed. The Tide made Georgia’s offense look pedestrian.  Georgia's defense has been dominant throughout the season, but there is no doubt that Alabama had the best skill group they have seen all season. I believe that Kirby Smart and Dan Lanning will be able to figure out how to play better if they were to face the Crimson Tide.

The biggest concern though is at the quarterback position. Jon Chuckery believes that the Bulldogs need to make a change there. He spoke plainly on how he thinks the Bulldogs will fare in the playoffs with Bennett at the helm.
"I don't think Stetson Bennett can win two playoff games," Chuckery said. The confidence level is low after what Bennett put on the field in just a two-score game.

Smart has justified throughout the entire season, to himself and to the media, why Bennett should be the starting the quarterback. It is just sad to know that he will not even consider making a change, if need be, at quarterback if the situation presents itself.
