Georgia won't 'play well in an offensive shootout' vs. Florida

Georgia Bulldogs
Joshua L. Jones-USA TODAY NETWORK

The Georgia Bulldogs are set to face the Florida Gators on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Florida brings in a high-powered offense that averages 42 points per game.

It may be a perfect storm for the Gators given all of the injuries that the Bulldogs are dealing with on defense. In dealing with all the injuries, Georgia's offense is going to have to take some pressure off of its defense by putting some points on the board.

Chip Towers, of the AJC, joined The Jon Chuckery Show to discuss whether or not Georgia's offense is prepared to pick up the slack.

"They don't play well in an offensive shootout," Towers said.

Kirby Smart has been firm about the style of football that he wants to play in his tenure. But their matchup against the Gators may call for a different style if they want to have a chance to win this game.
