There's been a lot of finger-pointing, name-calling, and story-telling since Carson Beck decided to transfer to Miami, mostly from fans and alumni, but the story took a bit of a turn when Georgia Football's official account posted a hype video that didn't include Carson Beck, and while many immediately overreacted to the perceived slight, upon further look, he wasn't the only significant member of the 2024 team left out.
Trevor Etienne wasn't in it, Mykell Williams wasn't in it, there were a lot of guys that weren't in it," clarifies Randy McMichael. "The only guy I can remember seeing that's not coming back was Arian (Smith). Jalon Walker wasn't in it. I had to go back and look at it again and none of the guys are in it."
The suggestion is that the UGA Social MEdia team is hyping up players who are going to be back with the program next year, but it certainly could be looked at a snub in the direction of Carson Beck and other key members of the 2024 season.
