The Georgia Bulldogs opened the season with a 48-7 win over UT-Martin, but a number of fans and analysts weren't pleased with what they saw from UGA, especially on offense. Brandon Adams, the host of Dawg Nation Daily, joined Andy and Randy on Tuesday and detailed Carson Beck's performance in the opener.
"It wasn't the best ever, it would behoove Carson to have a moment like Stetson Bennett did when he lit UAB on fire," says Brandon Adams. "I think the thing that should matter is Kirby Smart plainly said Beck is our starting QB and that's the indication you need to have about how confident they are. You think he has a chance to get better, but nothing about the way he played that is controversial."
Carson Beck ended the win over UT-Martin going 21-31 for 294 yards with a touchdown, and also added 12 yards on three attempts with a touchdown on the ground as well.
Carson Beck will have a chance to improve upon his debut performance this Saturday as the Ball State Cardinals are heading into Sanford Stadium for a Noon kickoff.
