The Georgia Bulldogs have lost quite a bit of talent over the past two seasons to the NFL but have reloaded and are ready to try to defend their back-to-back championships. There is expectation once again that the defense could be among the best in the country.
Dawg Nation Daily Podcast Host Brandon Adams detailed which position group he felt is strongest and wondered if the majority of the focus is actually on the wrong guy.
"I think there's a chance that Smael Mondon may be the most underrated player in the entire country regardless of position," declares Brandon Adams. "I think people do not realize how good Mondon is."
Smael Mondon is entering his junior season after a sophomore campaign that saw him start 13 games at LB and lead the team with 76 tackles. He had a career-high 11 tackles in Georgia's win over Kentucky last season.
