After a solid close to the regular season, the Georgia Bulldogs were safely in the NCAA Tournament with the only question remaining being where they were seeded, and on Sunday they got that answer being slotted into the #9 seed in the Midwest Region where their first round opponent will be #8 Gonzaga.
Gonzaga has made it to the Sweet 16 in the last nine NCAA Tournaments, but will have a tough time doing so again this year. Ever if they can get past Georgia, a (likely) matchup with #1 Houston would await. One of the key matchups will be inside where Gonzaga's Graham Ike will face off with likely lottery pick Asa Newell. The two teams will tipoff on Thursday at 4:35 on TBS at the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, KS.
