On Friday Andy & Randy were joined by Georgia Bulldogs Insider Radi Nabulsi who talked about the Dawgs dominant performance on the ground the last few weeks, especially in the blowout win over the Auburn Tigers.
In the 42-10 win over Auburn, Georgia totaled 292 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns spread across five different ball carriers: Stetson Bennett, Daijun Edwards, Branson Robinson, Kenny McIntosh, Kendall Milton.
Edwards and Robinson lead the way combining for four touchdowns and 181 of the 292 rushing yards.
In the 26-22 win over Missouri the week prior to the win over Auburn, the Bulldogs overcome a slow first half to finish with 169 rushing yards. Georgia should have no problem amassing a good amount of rushing yards in their Homecoming tomorrow against the Vanderbilt Commodores.
The recent success on the ground comes on the heels of Georgia’s passing attack dominating early on and Nabulsi reflected on that during his interview with Andy & Randy: “Guys do you remember about after Week 3 everybody was wondering what’s wrong with Georgia’s run game? Now it’s been three weeks and Georgia hasn’t had a passing touchdown and everybody’s like what’s wrong with Georgia’s passing game? Unless it’s like 300 yards rushing and 300 yards passing then there is something wrong,” Nabulsi stated.
You can hear Andy & Randy Monday-Friday from 11a-2p on 92.9 The Game.
