On Tuesday Andy & Randy were joined by DawgNationDaily Host and Georgia Bulldogs Insider Brandon Adam who talked about the blowout win over Auburn, how the Georgia running backs are being used and why the Tennessee Volunteers will lose to the Alabama Crimson Tide regardless if Bryce Young plays or not before the conversation steered towards Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett and his usage in the run game.
“I also think that Georgia could use him (Stetson Bennett) better than they due. I mean we saw Bennett have the long touchdown run on Saturday. I think they ought to use his legs more…they ought to run him more than they are, they are just not doing enough. That’s a coaching decision that they need to decide differently. They need to use his legs more,” Adams stated when it comes to the way the Georgia offense uses Bennett.
“Randy, one of your former teammates, Terrance Edwards, told me this week too that he thinks that not only should they run Bennett more, they should let him throw on the run more, that he is a better quarterback when he is kind of on the move and kind of doing some of that Stetson Bennett type stuff,” Adams added.
After beating rival Auburn 42-10 last week Georgia will host Vanderbilt this Saturday @ 3:30pm on the SEC Network.
You can hear Andy & Randy Monday-Friday from 11a-2p on 92.9 The Game.
