As the Georgia Bulldogs get set for their season opener this Saturday when they face the Clemson Tigers, Andy and Randy check in with Brandon Adams of DawgNation to discuss what UGA fans can expect to see on the field from the Dawgs.

From injured players that will more than likely sit out, to guys who may see a lot of action, Adams broke it all down with The Midday Show.

The guys got a chance to ask Adams which Georgia players who fans are familiar with, could find themselves becoming “household names” should they have a good performance in Saturday’s game.

Adams responded inside linebacker Nakobe Dean and defensive end Travon Walker.

Dean, out of Horn Lake High School in Horn Lake, Mississippi, was named to the 2021 Watch List for the Lott Impact Trophy as well as the Wuerffel Trophy and was named to the 2021 preseason All SEC Third Team.

“I think that Georgia fans know he's just one of the five or 10 most important players on this roster,” Adams said of Dean, adding that he believes the overall SEC fan base may not be familiar with Dean.

Adams also mentioned Georgia defensive end Travon Walker as another player who could become well-known nationally. Adams tells Andy and Randy that he believes Walker will “break that mold” of what defensive ends are known for traditionally. “He was mentioned back in the spring as a guy who was going to help contribute the pass-rush,” Adams said of Walker. Walker was also named to the 2021 preseason All SEC Third Team.
