UGA's opener against Clemson is 19 days away and one of the two guys (QB being the other) who handles the ball on every down is injured and might miss the game.
UGA center Warren Ericson has suffered a hand injury, is in a cast, and his availability for the game is unknown.
Even if Ericson is able to play, there are some questions about the quality of his snaps if he can't play without a cast.

DawgNation's Mike Griffith joined John and Hugh on Monday and expressed some real concern about the impact of Ericson's availability on UGA's chances against Clemson.
"The biggest issue on the team is that center position. He (Ericson) got injured the first day of practice, he's in a cast on his snapping hand, and if you don't get a clean snap everything else blows from there," says Griffith. "They got to make some fast decisions and figure out who can get it done. This is a big-time game, you got time to adjust after Clemson, but you got to make a decision right now and build some continuity and move forward."
