Longtime Head Coach and current Special Advisor to the SEC David Cutcliffe stopped by Dukes & Bell Monday live from SEC Media Days and gave some special insight into the Bulldogs’ upcoming season after a special visit to Athens.
“I thought (Kirby Smart) was amazingly hungry in Spring when I left. I was really pleased with what I saw. The staff and players had a real focused commitment that was very obviosu, there was no feeling satisfied.”
Cutcliffe added that Kirby has a special person in his life to keep him focused and in line.
“I know Kirby and his wife Mary Beth very well, if Kirby’s not fired up, then she is. She’s a former athlete, they’ve got it going on. It’s a good looking football squad.”
