The SEC Media Days were more than halfway over when a report that a pair of Big 12 powers were interested in joining the SEC began to circulate.
Immediately the discussions shifted and some schools decided put out statements about the rumors.
Chris Goforth, who hosts College Football Gametime, and is live in Alabama for SEC Media Days, joined John and Hugh and spoke about the subject that dominated headlines on day three.
"(Texas A&M AD) Ross Bjork did not have a formal press conference, but there was a group of reporters and I just happened to be standing there and Texas A&M will fight this," says Goforth. "It will need 11 votes in order for it to pass. The way he talked, Missouri would (vote against) too, Arkansas and LSU would probably go that route too. I don't know if they (Texas and OU) want to come.
