The Georgia Coaching Staff will have a new look next season. Todd Monken is out and Mike Bobo is (back) in as UGA's Offensive Coordinator after Monken left Athens for the NFL earlier this week.
Mike Bobo was previously the OC for UGA under Mark Richt, and one of his former QB's, Aaron Murray, joined John and Hugh and detailed what UGA fans can expect from the return of Bobo's offense and how Kirby Smart was ahead of the game when making this change.
"We were one of the top 3 offenses in the SEC my entire time in Georgia," explains Aaron Murray. "He put up numbers, elite receivers, elite quarterbacks, he struggled with QB injuries more recently, this should be an easy transition, makes sense, and was the plan all along. I don't see much dropoff next season."
Mike Bobo's offense definitely has some fans concerned about where UGA is headed, but this is a different program than it was when Bobo last controlled the offense, and most fans may not realize just how good the offense was last time he called the plays.
