A group of four friends who live in Athens and happen to be UGA fans together over New Years' and came up with a plan after the Dawgs Peach Bowl win over Ohio State - "What if we drove cross-country for an epic journey?"
Over beers in a friend's basement bar, they decided that epic journey would be to the CFP Championship game in Inglewood. And they'd make the whole trip in a van, all 2,267 miles.
Starting out in front of the Butts-Mehre building around 2:45 the past Friday, the four friends, known affectionately as Bear, Moe, Bob-O, and Worm, headed out west in a Chrysler Pacifica.
The guys took some time this morning from Palm Springs (their last stop before LA) to chat with the Steakhouse this morning, which you can hear above. Steak and Sandra got the lowdown on how long these guys have been friends, why they decided to make this trek, and their adventures along the way.
