Georgia would beat Alabama by 14 points today, says Trey Wallace

SEC college football reporter makes bold prediction while on the Nick Kayal Show

When Nick Kayal asked SEC college football writer Trey Wallace what he thought would happen if Georgia and Alabama were to play, not in December for the SEC championship, but today, a Saturday afternoon in mid-October, Trey boldly responded.

“I think Georgia would beat Alabama by 14 points right now,” Wallace said.

Nick could only respond with a slight chuckle, as he was delighted to hear Trey’s hot take opinion.

As Trey was delivering his bold prediction, in reality the Georgia Bulldogs were in Athens, preparing to host the No. 11 Kentucky Wildcats.

But the road to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game, and mostly likely yet another matchup with the Crimson Tide looms for the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs.

“I like the way Georgia is playing on defense,” explained Trey to Nick when giving support to his opinion.

The Bulldogs' defense currently leads the FBS in several overall categories, included total yards allowed and total points allowed.

Will this finally be the year that Georgia gets over the Alabama hurdle and delivers a national championship back to Athens?

Trey had one more statement about the Dawgs, before he finished chatting with Nick.

“Looking at this Georgia football team, they cannot waste this opportunity,” Wallace said.

Simply put, we all agree with Trey.
