Despite some claims of "dynasties" and the "same teams every year", Alabama way back in 2011 and 2012 was the last team to repeat as National Champions, something that Georgia is trying to do this season.
Mike Griffith has some concerns about UGA's ability to repeat because they are facing something that not even Clemson or Alabama has faced.
"Kirby said it best, you expect the unexpected in the opener," repeats Mike Griffith. "We've never seen a college football team lose 15 players in one NFL draft, much less in a year where they also lost 13 transfers."
"You could argue this is the greatest rebuild or reload in recent college football history," declares Griffith. "I think Georgia's well equipped, they've recruited really well, have arguably the best overall staff in college football, but they've lost a lot."
Georgia has the talent to replace those who are in the NFL now, they have finished ranked in the top 4 in recruiting classes in each of the last four years.
