UGA, even with another title, still isn't Alabama or Clemson, yet

The Georgia Bulldogs, with a win over TCU on Monday evening, can become college football's first repeat champion since Alabama did so in 2011 and 2012.

Despite seemingly passing Alabama and Clemson in recent years, Hugh Douglas explains to John Fricke that he isn't ready to call UGA the program everyone aspires to be just yet.

"In order to be the king you've got to be able to do it with different people, different personnel," says Douglas referring to Stetson Bennet's run at UGA. "What this defense has accomplished up to this point, is comparable, but I don't think you can say that they're the kings until they do it with multiple, or at least one other guy."

Since 2009, Alabama has won national titles with five different quarterbacks (McElroy, McCarron, Coker, Tua, and Mac Jones), while Clemson has won with both Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence.

Georgia is clearly the best program right now, but some, Hugh Douglas included, want to see them win with a QB not named Stetson before they officially take the mantle away from Nick Saban and Alabama.
