The Georgia Bulldogs got a new addition to their secondary as former West Virginia starter Tykee Smith announced his transfer.
Smith, who will have two years of eligibility remaining, posted the announcement to his Twitter on Sunday night.
Brandon Adams, who covers the Bulldogs for Dawg Nation Daily, joined the Midday Show to talk about what Smith brings to Georgia's defense.
"Clearly, he makes the job of everybody else on the field a little easier," Adams said, "He's coming to take somebody's playing time because this is a guy that was All-American; AP Football Writers Association, Pro Football Focus have shown him a ton of love...This is a real player."
"In the case of Tykee Smith, this is a guy who gives (Kirby) some help, has proven that he can play...(he) doesn't solve all of Georgia's issues in the secondary, but he certainly makes everything a little bit easier."
