DawgNation’s Connor Riley joined Dukes & Bell and talked about the 2021 SEC schedules, is this finally the year that UGA gets a national championship?
Riley talked about UGA having a navigable schedule in 2021.
“There’s not a whole lot of complaints you can have about it, Florida’s the only team that has a bye week before playing Georgia and Georgia also has a bye week before playing Florida.” Riley said “They don’t have back to back road games on the schedule, it’s a pretty navigable schedule. You get two weeks at the end of the schedule against Charleston Southern and Georgia Tech, teams that don’t figure to be all that good so if Georgia has won the SEC east, you don’t want to say rest up a little bit but they’ll be ready to go for that SEC West in the championship game.”
“Obviously I think it all really starts and ends though with that game against Clemson September fourth, but it’s a really easy schedule to navigate. They’re playing four first time head coaches this year, so there’s not a whole lot complain about with Georgia’s schedule this year in my eyes.”
